A heartfelt message from Royal City Police Department- Washington State Interim Chief Rey Rodriguez. A lot of us have seen what is potentially an impaired driver on our roadways–too many have had incredibly close calls or tragedies as a result of that. If you have the opportunity to step in to stop someone from driving impaired from alcohol or drugs, please help keep our community roadways safe by stopping them. Offer a sober driver, request a cab or ride-share, or offer them a safe place to sober up.
Who do you depend on? Who depends on you? We know you can list many for both! Please join Scout and American Medical Response Grant County in offering those you listed above to be their designated driver or planning ahead with a designated driver for yourself should the celebration lead to needing one! For your family, friends, and community–choose to always drive 100% sober!
